The first of the available tools is the Game State App, designed primarily for in-play use. The application calculates suggested prices for a variety of markets, including Match Odds, Over/Under Goals, and Both Teams to Score, based on factors such as the timing of the opening goal against the current score line. These model-generated prices are then compared against live Betfair odds to highlight potential value opportunities.
The Pre-Match to In-Play App focuses on market movement analysis. Getting Started…
Once you take out a membership package, access to all Trade On Sports services is via the portal. The portal home screen contains links to both football tools under the Football Applications heading.
Game State App (Inplay)
Let’s start with the Game State App. As mentioned previously, this tool is designed to help identify potential in-play betting opportunities based on the current state of a match.
The application is divided into three main sections, the first being the Stats tab. This area allows users to analyse outcome probabilities by comparing the current match situation with historical fixtures that shared the same game state.
In the example shown below, the following criteria have been entered:
- League: Spain Primera
- Opening Score: 1-0
- Time of First Goal: 11–20 minutes
- Current Score: 1-0
- Current Match Time: 21 minutes
Based on these inputs, the App generates a range of probability estimates derived from historical data. These cover a variety of outcomes, including half-time and full-time results, goal-line markets, correct scores, and other key betting markets.
The objective is to compare these model-generated probabilities against the odds currently available on the exchange. Where the market odds differ significantly from the historical probabilities, potential value opportunities may exist.
The Coming Up tab provides an overview of all upcoming matches scheduled over the next two days, along with the current market prices across the common betting lines. It also displays the expected goal figures derived from the available Betfair odds, giving users an early indication of how the market rates each fixture.
This section is particularly useful for planning ahead, allowing you to identify and shortlist matches that may present strong opportunities before they move in-play.
Finally, the GS In-Play tab is where the live action takes place. As the name suggests, this is the dedicated workspace for in-play trading, providing real-time information and insights to help users identify opportunities as matches unfold.
Prematch-to-Inplay App
The Pre-Match to In-Play App is available exclusively to Gold and Platinum subscribers and is designed to help users identify and profit from market movements before kick-off. Once a match goes in-play, the application also monitors live match statistics and alerts users when conditions suggest that a goal may be imminent.
As with the Game State App, the Coming Up tab provides an overview of fixtures scheduled over the next couple of days. Alongside current market prices, it displays key goal expectancy statistics, allowing users to form early opinions.
The standout feature of the application is the Morning Footy tab. Successful pre-match trading relies heavily on liquidity, so the focus here is on high-profile fixtures from the major leagues. Lower-tier competitions are filtered out, ensuring attention remains on the markets with the greatest trading activity.
For each match, the app displays the latest Betfair exchange prices alongside the current Pinnacle odds. Significant discrepancies between the two are highlighted, drawing attention to potential trading opportunities. Given Pinnacle’s reputation as one of the sharpest bookmakers in the industry, movements in its pricing can often be an early indicator of where exchange markets may follow. The screenshot below illustrates the Morning Footy interface.
Selecting a match from the Morning Footy tab opens a dedicated analysis page for that fixture. Here, users can view historical exchange price movements for each outcome, along with a range of supporting metrics designed to help identify market pressure and likely price direction.
The principle is straightforward: identify a price with the potential to move, determine the likely direction, enter the trade, and then exit before kick-off to lock in a profit. The screenshot below shows the detailed match analysis page and the data available to support decision-making.
The PM-2-IP In-Play tab focuses on live matches where in-play statistics are available. While the raw data is valuable in its own right, the application also performs analysis on the user’s behalf, assessing whether a match is showing signs of sustained pressure. In the example below, a match is highlighted with a COLD pressure status, indicating that the current in-play metrics suggest a goal is unlikely in the immediate future.
During busy football periods, such as a Saturday afternoon, this section can contain a large number of live fixtures. The insights provided serve as a useful guide for a wide range of in-play betting and trading strategies.
Both applications include integrated support links, and a range of accompanying training materials is available to help members get up to speed quickly and make the most of the tools on offer.
Trade On Sports Football Core Strategies & Automation
While Trade On Sports Football provides powerful applications for identifying your own betting and trading opportunities, it also offers a range of proven strategies that members can follow immediately. These include pre-match betting systems, in-play goal-based strategies driven by Game State analysis, and pre-match trading opportunities.
Betting selections are delivered to members via Telegram as soon as they are identified by the underlying systems. Platinum subscribers also have the added benefit of being able to fully automate many of these bets through integration with BF Bot Manager, removing the need for manual placement.
Pre-match trading opportunities are handled slightly differently. These are typically provided by Pete Nordsted in the morning, most commonly at weekends, and consist of carefully selected trades accompanied by video commentary explaining the reasoning behind each position. While trade entry remains a manual process, automated exit rules can be configured, allowing many trades to operate on a largely “set-and-forget” basis once they are in the market.
For the purposes of this review, our primary focus will be on evaluating the performance of these provided betting and trading strategies.

This community is centred around a series of dedicated Telegram channels, each serving a particular sport or purpose. Within these rooms, members can discuss ideas, share experiences, ask questions, and seek guidance from the Trade On Sports experts. The channels also host a variety of automated bots that distribute selections, alerts, and system notifications directly to members as opportunities arise.
The Telegram rooms play a key role in the overall Trade On Sports experience, providing both educational value and a collaborative environment that helps ensure members are never tackling the markets alone.
Trade On Sports Football Pricing
Three subscription levels are available for the Trade On Sports Football Service.
- Silver – Priced @ £30 every 4 week cycle – Providing the Game State App.
- Gold – Priced @ £39.95 every 4 week cycle – Providing the Game State App, Prematch to Inplay App.
- Platinum – Priced @ £49.95 every 4 week cycle – Providing unrestricted access to all TOS services. **This is required to automate the Core strategies.
The value here is without doubt found in the Platinum package. Not only does this allow the automation of the Core TOS Football strategies but you also gain access to all other TOS services, including Tennis, Horse Racing & the forthcoming American sports. These other packages have similar pricing to TOS Football individually.
Trade On Tennis Exchange Trial
For the purposes of this Trade On Sports Football review we will be monitoring the performance of the core strategies & all bets for these will be automated using the BF Bot Manager software. The core strategies are categorised as either Pre-match or Inplay & are provided to members via Telegram alerts or sent directly to your BF Bot Manager instance via the TOS Automation portal.
The Pre-match strategies focus on the Match Odds & Correct Score markets & place both back & lay bets. The Inplay strategies use both the Match Odds markets where the draw outcome is opposed & the Over 3.5 goals markets which are all back bets. We will setup separate bots in BF Bot Manager so that we can track the performance of each strategy independently & these bots will be used to automate the bet placements.
Trade On Sports provides regular results updates for the core strategies on their site. We have assessed the past results for each of these and believe that if you are following this service you should be looking at the long term to make your gains. Some of the strategies only provide a handful of selections for a given month, whilst others involve backing higher odds & waiting for the less frequent big wins to land. One of the strategies which revolves around Pinnacle price movements offers 5 different angles over 2 markets that can be played. TOS show results for all 5 angles & offer ways in which to split the stake however for this particular strategy we will be applying only 1 of the 5 angles. The graph below compares the P&L over time for each of the 5 angles.
The chart shows each angle’s P&L across the 27 months the strategy has been in operation. You can see that angle 4 represented by the yellow line produces the highest long term profit but more importantly (in our opinion) is the least volatile. For these reasons we will be taking angle 4 only for this particular bot. We wanted to call this out in case our results greatly differ from your own. All other strategies are based on a single betting approach.
In terms of staking & bank management, we will be allocating a £1000 bank to TOS Football shared between all core strategies. We will be using a 1% stake (£10) on every back selection provided & all lay bets will be made to win 1%. The trial will run until the combined total of bets placed reaches the thousand mark.
